Niki Pappas MA, MBA, HHC is a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, Yoga Teacher, and Thai Yoga Bodywork Practitioner. Her transition from a 20-year career in marketing research began in 2011 with her coaching certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and, more recently, completion of 500hr Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) training and Thai Yoga Bodywork training from Will Brashear at the Cincinnati Yoga School. Niki has worked with hundreds of private clients as well as members of employee and social groups to support them toward better health and greater happiness.
In my family, education and achievement were highly valued. My parents are PhD chemists and my childhood was all about working hard in school, at the piano, and on the tennis court. It was a no-brainer that I’d attend college and graduate school, and I studied Psychology at Princeton University and then received Master’s Degrees in Organizational Psychology and Business at the University of Michigan. This background prepared me perfectly for a career in quantitative marketing research, and I started at Quaker Oats in Chicago in 1987 and later moved to Cincinnati to join Directions Research, a privately held custom survey research supplier. During this time I also had two lovely sons who are now in their 20s and two husbands (whose ages I won’t reveal!). I loved serving my marketing research clients but I gradually realized that rather than work with them on their marketing challenges, I’d prefer to work with them on THEM – on their health and happiness and overall wellness. I was making changes toward better eating and exercise in my own life, and I wanted to help others do the same.
So at the end of 2010 I retired from research, began coaching school, and got serious about yoga. I also enjoyed having much more flexibility for my family and friends and gradually discovered a giant network of wellness practitioners and healers of all types in the Cincinnati area. As a coach I’ve worked for companies and on my own, and it’s even better than I imagined to now be working with my clients on THEM, as was my dream! I’ve added Yoga and now Thai Yoga Bodywork, and I love offering wellness services that support my clients at all levels – mind, body, and spirit – toward alignment and unity.
Philosophy of Healing
Each individual is a unique universe, and is connected to the universe. Helping clients become connected and consistent inwardly, as well as connected outwardly, is my ultimate goal. I believe we have infinite capacity for learning and healing, and for discerning our desired path and moving toward it step by conscious step.
